3. Melt grafting, this method is currently widely used grounding method. The monomer and initiator are added in the molten state, resulting in a ground reaction. It is usually carried out on processing equipment such as single-screw extruder and twin-screw extruder. The processing temperature is generally above 180 degrees, so the boiling point of the monomer is high. Maleic anhydride grafted waxes and esters thereof can be used in this process. This method directly grafts PP to the processing equipment, so no solvent is required, the process is simple, and it can be continuously produced in large quantities. But the disadvantage is that the reaction temperature is high and the decomposition is serious, which seriously affects the performance of the material.
